Most apps show you an attribute and leave you to wonder whether anyone checked it. Strollable never does that. Each value carries its source, and your own note always wins on your phone.

What we look at

Stroller access

How flat the walk from the car actually is, and whether you will hit steps.

Parking

Free lot, paid lot or street, and how hard it tends to be on a weekend.

Shade and weather

Indoor, outdoor, or outdoor with somewhere to get out of the sun.

Facilities

Restrooms, changing tables, family restrooms and nursing rooms.

Your notes stay on your phone

What you record about a place — how the walk felt, where you parked, whether you got to sit down — is stored on your device and in your own private iCloud. It is not sent to us. Sharing something with other parents is a separate, deliberate action.

Location is used only while you have the app open, to sort places by how far away they are. We do not track you between sessions.

Where it works today

Southern California, anchored on Los Angeles, with a smaller number of places in Orange County, Ventura County and the Inland Empire. The catalogue is hand-checked rather than scraped, so it grows slowly and on purpose.
